Hi Sheri, thanks for joining us on the Interview Page!
TDW: Who do you think is one of today's most dynamic women?
SJ: "Sarah Palin - good, bad or indifferent, she is getting a lot of attention and causing people to
think!"
TDW: What makes you a dynamic woman?
SJ: "My ability to make great things happen for my family. They absolutely come first in life, so I
make sure there is quality family time everyday. I am also very interested in helping other families get healthy through the
5.2.1.Almost None! program. I take this message to school children of all ages to encourage them to eat five servings of fruits
and vegetables daily, limit screen time to two hours a day, get at least one hour of physical activity and almost no sugary
drinks.
TDW: What changes do we still need to make in our society to get women up to speed?
SJ: " I really like programs like 'Suited for Success', which encourages women to donate their gently
used business suits to those that need them. This is a great example of the 'haves' helping the 'have nots'. So the bottom
line is that we need to get more women involved in community service. It sends a great message to your children and gives
you those 'feel good' endorphines too!"
TDW: What do you think is the biggest step women have made in our society?
SJ: "Well, we are starting to break through the glass ceiling, but we need to continue to drive this
ourselves. I know that many women that read this are balancing family, career and anything else they are involved in, and
I would say thank you to all of you for helping to drive change and keep pushing through."
TDW: What is your life passion?
SJ: "My husband of course! He is soooooo handsome and he loves me! Thanks so much and have a dynamic
day!"
